The Delicate & Seriously Elegant Wedding Day of Tina & Ben at The Great Hall at Mains

This is such a stunning wedding, so perfectly planned, beautifully thought out, exquisitely put together with a delicate touch, the lovely Tina and her equally lovely Mum Lucia and I have had a plethora of creative appointments, I am really going to miss them, I was so thrilled with this wedding that it brought a tear to my eye when I saw the lovely Tina walking up the aisle, I hope you'll enjoy it as much as we did dear reader....

Tina's Wedding Bouquet in soft gentle shades of Ivory, Cream and "Palamino" (The shade of the Bridesmaid's Gowns) the handle was bound with lace and finished of with some precious family heirlooms

I included Sweet Peas, Lily of the Valley, Stachys, David Austin's Patience Rose my favourite Peony "Bowl of Cream" with Astrantia, Champagne Grass and lots of other lovely Rose varieties besides
Our Favourite Make Up Artist the fab Sonara Parker we hope she didn't mind us disturbing her work too much to present the bridal bouquets
Wedding Bouquet carrying lesson was being taken very seriously!!....
...Well almost!!!
Jason & I headed off to The Great Hall at Mains to put the finishing touches to the ceremony dressing
On either side of the fireplace two of our fabulous Baroque Candelabras overflowing fresh fragrant blooms, lace and pearls were on pedestal stands framing the ceremony area

The Candelabras oozed fragrance from the fresh Stocks, Peonies, Roses, Sweet Peas and Hydrangeas
At the foot of the aisle two of our glorious floor standing Baroque Candelabras swathed in Lace, Strings of Pearls and a profusion of fragrant blooms
On the floor standing Candelabras I used a wonderful collection of English Garden flowers and foliages including Spirea Blossom, Solomon's Seal, Hydrangeas, Roses, peonies and Sweet Peas with trails of Ivy and Sperengerii
Rose Petals and Hurricane Lamps lined the aisle carpet creating a fragranced walkway for our Bride

The Groom's Dad & Groom's Men were all wearing individually created Boutonnieres of Quicksand Roses with Sweet Peas each one finished off with lace and ribbon and pinned with a pearl headed pin



The fabulous ceiling drapes and chair covers were provided by the great folks at Creative Cover Hire
On the Bar a candlelit "Bird Cage" design
 The terrific photographers for the day were Ashton Photography
In the centre of the Registrars table was on our lovely glass "Cloche" designs filled with Roses and Hydrangeas
On the second Registrars table a design featuring a "French Fancy" stand and little perfume bottles all filled with fresh flowers
Our Groom welcomed guests as they arrived at the French Windows entrance we'd dressed it with our own Bay Trees studded with White Rose Buds and drenched in Pearls and lace, Candlelit Lanterns on either side of the door way and later a profusion of Rose Petals scattered on the floor completed the look beautifully

Lucia the totally fabulous Brides Mum was wearing an epaulette Corsage of Lily of the Valley, Bombastic and Blanchette Roses Buds to tone with her daughter's Bridal Bouquet

The Bridesmaids Bouquets of Peonies, Roses, Sweet Peas, Stachys, Lily of the Valley and Hydrangeas looked heavenly with their exquisite "Palamino" coloured  gowns

Tina really did take everyone's breath away when she and her lovely Dad arrived
The wedding bouquet was so simple and exquisitely elegant perfect for Tina's Sassi Holford gown from the great folks at Dreamcatcher Bridal

Rose Petals were scattered for our beautiful ladies to step on releasing the most enchanting fragrance















Massive Congratulations to the brand new Mr & Mrs Hopes from all the team here at FD Events





The super fab Chriss, Manager at TGHM was ready with the fizz for our newly weds







The spectacularly brilliant  singer and musician Paul Guard was one of the first to congratulate our Bridal Couple


In the kitchen's the team from "With a Twist" were putting the final touches to their delicious canapes
Martin the head honcho at With a Twist was on site personally to ensure perfection from his experienced team


Whilst our fabulous Bride & Groom and their glorious guests enjoyed the sunshine, the music, the food and the wine a transformation was taking place inside The Great Hall at Mains
The dining tables were dressed and laid, our spectacular centrepieces were centre stage, Baroque Candelabras and Birdcages all filled with magnificent English Country Garden Blooms with Lace and Pearls
Our candle lit Birdcages surrounded by a voluptuous garland Stocks, Roses, Peonies, Hydrangeas and Sweet peas with strings of pearls and lace
